Setting up my router

< Back to Latest news

12 February 2021 - If you’ve taken out broadband with Utility Warehouse, you may have been asked to use your existing router or you may have been sent a new one altogether.

Either way, you may be wondering how you get on the information superhighway.

Your own router

Firstly, let’s begin with the easiest route; using your own router. Once you’ve received confirmation that you’ve been connected to UW and your service is ready to use, all you’ll need to do is login to your new service with your UW username and password. This is on your broadband welcome letter, but if you’ve misplaced this, you can find it in the Home Phone and Broadband service area of your online account.

Using a new router

If you’ve been sent a new router by UW, you may be wondering just how to go about setting it up. Well, we’ve got you covered. Your router could be one of four, depending on your connection capabilities and the package you’ve selected, and you can find a full instruction guide to each router below here.
