12 May 2022 - Utility Warehouse (UW), the UK’s only multiservice provider, is celebrating five years of Uswitch Energy Award wins. In the Uswitch Energy Awards 2022, Utility Warehouse took home three wins making them the most-awarded provider at this year's awards.

UW was awarded Best Customer Service, Most Likely to Recommend, and Best Rewards. UW also came second in the Best App category, breaking into the top three in that award for the first time. The awards are based on an annual survey of 16,269 energy customers, run in conjunction with YouGov.

It’s the fifth year that UW has won at the Uswitch Awards with previous wins including Best Energy Saving Support and Best Meter Reading service, as well as two further wins for Best Rewards. The Best Rewards win is a nod to the UW Cashback Card which all UW customers can take advantage of. The card enables customers to access cashback of up to 10% at selected retailers, while also saving multiservice customers a further 1% wherever they spend. This cashback then goes directly onto customers bills, offering even more savings against their monthly utility bill. An important add-on for customers who are looking to make even more savings on their monthly bill during the cost of living crisis.

These award wins are proof that customers value UW’s unique take on utilities and shows that people are better off by bundling with UW. UW’s multiservice proposition means that customers can get multiple home services through one bill and one account, bundling their services together to make savings against the price cap and on their monthly bill. New customers who take advantage of mobile, energy, insurance, and broadband can make a saving of £481 on their total annual bill compared to other providers.

And now UW is helping its multiservice customers once again, reducing its fixed tariff to £2250 per annum. This is currently £500 cheaper than the next cheapest equivalent on the market and is likely to offer long-term savings based on current market forecasts that the Government's price cap review in October will see even higher costs. And UW customers who take advantage of three services or more will get access to 100% renewable electricity as well as having a tree planted in their name in the UW woodland in Bryn Arw.

Stuart Burnett, Co-CEO at Utility Warehouse, said: ‘We’re delighted to win these awards from Uswitch. It shows that our customers really value the market-leading service they get from us, and have bought into the UW ethos. Our multiservice proposition is unique and it enables us to offer customers the cheapest energy in the market, as well as great value pricing for all their other household services, and extras like a cashback card to unlock further savings. Everyone who signs up to UW really is better off by bundling.’
