Belonging Groups
We’re constantly building a culture where everyone feels a genuine sense of belonging, and diverse perspectives are truly valued. Our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategy focuses on Diversity of Thought, bringing together varied ways of thinking to accelerate innovation, solve complex challenges more efficiently, and elevate our collective performance as a team.
Our Belonging Groups are set up and led by our colleagues, creating communities and championing change. We've also recently topped the FTSE Women Leaders Review in the telco sector, showing our dedication to gender balance and the promotion of women leaders at UW.
The UW Foundation
The UW Foundation was set up in 2019 to up our game when it comes to supporting causes we care about. We have committed to contribute 1% of our reported annual profits to the UW Foundation and our tree-planting initiatives.
You can apply for matched funding up to £500 for a cause close to your heart and your colleagues will rally around to help you smash your fundraising goals!
Doing the right thing
We’re developing and delivering against a clear ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) programme. Having fun
OK, so ‘home services’ doesn’t exactly scream ‘fun’, but trust us – we love letting our hair down. Whether that’s a team summer picnic of the company-wide festive celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We even host virtual family treasure hunts for our remote colleagues.
