Utility Warehouse pledges guaranteed savings for new customers - or will pay double their money back

London, 22nd April 2024 - Utility Warehouse today promised to pay new customers double the difference back if they don’t make savings on their services in the first year of signing up.

Customers who take three services from energy, mobile, broadband or boiler and home cover, and a UW Cashback Card are eligible for the “UW Price Pledge”. If after 12 months, they haven’t made savings compared to their previous suppliers, UW will refund them twice the difference and they can leave without any exit fees.

The new offer comes as increasing numbers of customers are joining UW to save on their essential household bills by bundling their utilities together. UW passed the 1million customer milestone last month (March) and has set its sights on reaching 2million customers over the medium term.

Robyn Hyde, Customer Director at Utility Warehouse, said: “While other suppliers are increasing their prices, we’re committed to helping customers save on their essential household bills with market leading rates. With more people turning to UW, we’re so confident in our money-saving bundles that we’ll pay double the difference back if they don’t make savings in the first year when they switch to us.”

Since 2021, more than 343,000 new customers have joined UW and in the last financial year alone, UW delivered over £30m worth of savings to customers on their energy bills, and £8m of additional savings via the UW Cashback Card.
