'Up to' savings 


'Up to' savings shown combine savings comparisons from any energy or telephony service applicable to that bundle. For our Double Gold bundle, we use our Variable Double Gold tariff.

Landline/broadband: our fixed line broadband (incl. 10% discount for Gold Talk & Double Gold) compared to BT on fibre 40mbs product or nearest equivalent across a three year period, including line rental, call charges and additional costs such as calling features. Average saving over 36 months. Mobile: our Unlimited sim only tariff compared to EE, GiffGaff, ID, O2, Smarty, Superdrug, 3, Virgin, Vodafone equivalent. Average saving of £130.80 over 36 months. Information correct as of 5 November 2021.

Energy savings and guarantee are compared to the Ofgem calculated Price Cap level (which is typically where most large suppliers variable tariffs are priced), based on payment by direct debit for typical household consumption of 2,900 kwh general domestic electricity and 12,000 kwh gas. Information correct as of 16 November 2021.

Always cheaper than the Government's energy price cap: Our Energy Price Guarantee applies to customers on Direct Debit and does not apply to our Green Fixed tariff. When any changes to the Government's price cap level are made, we will adjust our own tariffs to ensure they comply with our Guarantee for the date the new price cap level is introduced.

Mobile Phone Protection: One claim per account during any consecutive 12 month period, subject to payment of an excess.

30 days to change your mind

If you’re new to UW and sign up as a Double Gold customer you can cancel any of the following services within 30 days - Home Phone, Broadband, ‘SIM only’ connections, Electricity, Gas and Boiler and Home Cover. You just need to pay for any installation costs and costs you have incurred by using these services. You must also return any equipment we have supplied to enable you to use these services (complete, undamaged and in its original packaging). Terms & conditions apply.


Everybody Saves with UW

Switch your energy, broadband and mobile SIM to UW and if you don't save just by switching, simply send in your previous suppliers’ bills and any price increase notifications. We’ll look at what you were paying and based on this we’ll estimate your usage and spend over the next 12 months. If you're eligible, we’ll apply credits to your monthly bills to make sure you save in your first year. Plus, you'll save time with all your services in one simple bill.

The amount you pay for your services, particularly energy, will depend on your usage. As our savings and credits are based on estimates, if your usage, energy consumption or pattern changes you may pay more than you did with your previous suppliers.
