Utility Warehouse rated Which? Recommended Provider for Broadband 2025

UW becomes first company to be named Which? Recommended Provider for both Energy and Broadband in the same year

London, 20th March 2025: Utility Warehouse (UW) has been rated as a Which? Recommended Provider for Broadband 2025, scoring high marks for customer service and connection reliability, as well as ease and speed of contact. UW was also rated highly for value for money and communication.

UW was also named Which? Recommended Provider for Energy in January 2025, making them the first-ever business to receive Which? Recommended Provider status for both Broadband and Energy in the same year.

Which? only endorses the best products and services, and this year UW is one of just three companies to have been named a Which? Recommended Provider for Broadband. UW scored 72% overall – finishing third in this year's rankings.

As well as outstanding customer service, UW is the only company with a nationwide network of friendly, local Partners who can help people save time and money on the essential services they need to run their homes. Thanks to this more human, local approach, UW has over a million customers and is growing fast.

Stuart Burnett, CEO of Utility Warehouse, said: “We’re proud to say we’re always in our customers’ corner, and being rated a Which? Recommended Provider for both Broadband and Energy at the same time reinforces that commitment. Winning one was incredible, but winning two – and making history in the process – is testament to what we believe in: the power of people helping people.

“Whether it’s our Partners helping their neighbours, friends and local communities,  or the commitment and care of our customer service teams, we’re always focused on championing a better way. Achieving Which? Recommended Provider status shows how much customers value our people-first approach.”

The latest Which? rankings are drawn from a comprehensive survey of over 4,300 broadband customers, who assessed their supplier across key satisfaction criteria, along with expert analysis from Which?’s in-house team.

The recognition comes as UW continues to power ahead, with the business on track to double in size to two million customers in the medium term.

Driving this expansion is UW’s unique multiservice offering, which seamlessly combines energy, broadband, mobile, and insurance into one simple package. At the heart of this success are UW’s Partners - a network of over 70,000 people across the UK who are empowered to earn an additional income by helping their friends, family, and local communities save time and money by signing up to UW’s services.

UW also partners with CityFibre to bring the best full fibre broadband to homes across the UK, including the superfast Full Fibre 900.
