Who is eligible for UW insurance?

Home Insurance is only available to our existing customers who have an established direct debit set-up. It’s another perk of being a UW customer!

Switch your energy, broadband, or mobile supplier to UW, and you can unlock our Defaqto and Moneyfacts five-star-rated Home Insurance.

Will my policy be on my UW bill?

Yes! As part of our one-bill promise, your Insurance payments will be added to your existing UW monthly bill so you can spread the cost over handy monthly payments.

What can affect the price of my home insurance?

Much like the various external factors that can impact the broader insurance market, several things can affect the price of your home insurance. These include but are not limited to:

  • What your home is made of – The materials used to construct your property and the way it’s been built can influence your quote

  • The type of property that you live in – Larger properties with more rooms can increase the cost of repair or re-builds

  • The area that you live in – Areas that are more prone to extreme weather, like flooding, can also impact your premium

  • Your home security – If you have strong home security installed, you may see your home insurance premium decrease
