Black Friday savings! Utility Warehouse slashes prices of fixed energy tariff to cheapest in the UK
Lock in a fixed rate at just £1,559 – a massive £158 BELOW the current price cap and an even bigger £179 BELOW the January cap
London, 28th November 2024 – Utility Warehouse (UW) today launched the UK’s cheapest* fixed energy tariff at £158 BELOW the price cap - just in time to deliver big savings for budget conscious customers this Black Friday.
With energy bills a concern for many households, UW’s new Fixed Saver 32 tariff delivers unbeatable value at £1,559—a significant saving compared to the current price cap of £1,717, with energy costs locked in until 30 November 2025.
But that’s not all - when the price cap rises to £1,738 in January, customers on this tariff will enjoy total savings of £179—providing even greater financial relief.
The deal is available to customers who bundle their energy with UW’s other two services - broadband and mobile. And for those who switch to four services, UW will add in an extra £50 bill credit, cutting the cost of their tariff even further to £208 below the cap - that’s £1,509 for the next 12 months.
For customers who want energy plus just one other service from mobile or broadband, the two-service Fixed 32 tariff is also great value at £1,608 for the next 12 months - a hefty £109 saving below today’s cap and £130 below the January cap.
David Walter, Chief Growth Officer at Utility Warehouse, said: "As the price cap rises and temperatures fall, we’re doubling down on giving households exactly what they want: energy prices that undercut the cap and excellent customer service. And this isn’t just a short-term Black Friday deal—our fixed tariffs are designed to deliver savings and peace of mind for the next 12 months - putting pounds back into our customers' pockets for the year ahead.”
Unlike many other suppliers, the new fixed tariffs are available to both new and existing customers. Customers can sign up via UW Partners who provide personalised support to anyone wanting to switch to the new tariff and on how to save money on their household bills by bundling them together with UW.
UW is also extending a helping hand to struggling households with flexible payment plans, energy-saving advice, and a hardship fund. The fund —run in partnership with Citizens Advice —provided over £555,000 in the last financial year alone.
