The UK’s only multiservice provider receives recognition for its innovative Wi-Fi router
< Back to Newsroom24 March 2022 - Utility Warehouse (UW), the UK’s only multiservice provider, has been endorsed as Which? Best Buy status for its UW Wi-Fi Hub. The consumer body put the router through its paces, testing the router against a series of criteria and the UW router came out with glowing reviews, leading to Which? naming it as a Best Buy for 2022.
The endorsement is another string to the UW bow when it comes to broadband. UW recently relaunched their broadband offering with 18-month contracts and pricing for new customers. This means UW is one of the most cost-effective broadband providers in the market and customers can access a range of speeds and packages to suit their needs - and new broadband customers can be assured they won’t see their price rise mid-contract.
And if customers struggle with service in their homes, UW is one of only two broadband providers in the UK that is able to offer eero whole home broadband. Eero is a mesh Wi-Fi system that eliminates black spots in homes where Wi-Fi signal may be weaker. Each device usually costs £100 outright while UW is able to offer them to customers for £5 a month for two devices, with a third for just an extra £2.50. The eero devices also come with eero secure free of charge. This app is usually £25 a year and gives customers features such as advanced security and ad blockers, allowing easy management of the home Wi-Fi system.
Together, these elements create an exciting broadband package for new customers. And customers can access even more benefits and discounts should they elect to take more services from the multiservice provider. At a time when customers are feeling the effects of a cost of living crisis, UW offers a way for customers to save money on their monthly bills. Customers who sign up for Double Gold - energy plus mobile and broadband - can be sure they are receiving an energy price that is £98 below the new price cap as well as a 10% saving on their monthly broadband bill.
Stuart Burnett, Co-CEO of Utility Warehouse, said: ‘Which? recognition is the gold standard in our industry and we’re delighted that the UW Wi-Fi Hub has received the Which? Best Buy endorsement. We know we have a great product and service to offer customers but receiving this endorsement shows that a trust body like Which? also thinks so. And that means customers can be sure that when they sign up to UW, they aren’t just getting a great service but our products live up to the hype as well.’
