London, 16th January 2025: Utility Warehouse (UW) has been rated as a Which? Recommended Provider for Energy Companies 2025 - scoring full marks for overall customer service. This recognition comes as more and more households are choosing UW to help them save on their energy bills.
With over a million loyal customers, UW is firmly established as one of the UK's fastest growing energy suppliers. UW scored five out of five stars for overall customer service as well as accuracy of payments. It earned four-star ratings for all other areas: ease of contacting, usefulness of communications about price changes, clear statements, value for money and customer communications.
Which? only endorses the best products and services, and this year UW is one of just three companies in the UK to have been named a Which? Recommended Provider for Energy Companies.
Stuart Burnett, CEO of Utility Warehouse, said: “Being rated by Which? as a Recommended Provider is a huge milestone for us, and it’s great to see our efforts recognised like this. We’re proud to champion a better way and offer a real alternative to the status quo. Our business is built on putting people first—giving our customers peace of mind through exceptional value and outstanding service from people who genuinely care.”
At the heart of UW’s success is its network of 70,000 local Partners all over the UK, who recommend the company’s services to their family and friends in return for an additional income – and even free energy*
Stuart Burnett added: “More and more people are choosing UW because our Partners offer something truly different: a helping hand from someone who’s just around the corner, taking the hassle out of switching, and saving people time and money on the essential services that keep their homes running smoothly.”
The Which? recognition comes as UW, which seamlessly combines energy, broadband, mobile, and insurance into one simple bundle, continues to power ahead, with the business on track to double in size to two million customers in the medium term.
This isn’t the first time UW has been recognised for its excellent customer service: last year, UW topped December's Citizens Advice quarterly energy rankings, as well as winning Best Customer Service and Best Value for Money at the Uswitch Energy Awards 2024.
