Lock in £100+ savings now vs the increasing energy price cap for peace of mind on energy costs.
19 October 2023 - Utility Warehouse (UW) today launched a ‘Fixed Saver 8’ tariff offering customers the opportunity to fix their energy bills at £1,783 for the next 12 months, £51 below the price cap and currently the cheapest fixed energy price in the market.
Customers can fix until November next year when they take energy and switch at least two of their existing mobile, broadband, or insurance services to UW. New customers who sign up via a UW Partner to a UW bundle are also eligible for a further £50 saving on their UW utility bill - meaning customers could save a total of £101 on their bills.
And customers who want to take energy plus just one other market-leading service from UW can do so with UW’s two service ‘Fixed 8’ tariff. This enables customers to freeze their energy rates at £1,923 until November 2024, giving them peace of mind against any potential price cap rises over the next 12 months.
The Fixed Saver 8 tariff is currently the cheapest fixed energy tariff in the market.
Stuart Burnett, Co-CEO of Utility Warehouse, said: “With winter on its way, many households will be worrying about the cost of their bills as the heating goes on. And with potential price cap rises forecasted over the months ahead, people will be looking for peace of mind on their energy bills. Our new tariffs mean that consumers can fix their energy rates until November 2024, protecting them against further price cap rises and giving them the lowest fixed price currently available in the market.”
More than 62,500 additional households switched to UW in the first 6 months of FY24, representing an annualised growth rate of over 14%. With more than 950,000 households taking services from UW, the business is expected to pass the one million customer milestone during the current financial year.
The fixed tariff is available from 9am on October 19th. To sign up visit www.uw.co.uk for more information.
