The findings, based on an independent consumer survey, commended UW for its value for money, communication with customers and ease and speed of contact.

UW, which passed the 1million customer milestone last month (March), was ranked in the top quartile overall - placing it well ahead of a host of other broadband providers including BT, SKy, Vodafone and Virgin Media.

The research, which was carried out between December 2023 and January 2024, also highlighted UW as “one of the four to watch” out of the thirteen providers surveyed.

UW offers broadband from just £26 a month on its Ultra deal, while its Full Fibre package means customers can enjoy lightning-fast download speeds from just £28 per month. All of UW’s broadband packages come with its free Wifi hub - awarded “Great Value Status” by Which? last year as well as “Best Buy” in 2022.

Robyn Hyde, Customer Director at Utility Warehouse, said: “Our latest Which? broadband ranking reinforces our cast-iron commitment to deliver outstanding customer service and value for money, backed up by exceptional technical support. While many mainstream providers are hitting their customers with expensive mid-contract price rises, we guarantee our customers no hidden fees- with one price for the duration of the contract. That’s why consumers are increasingly turning to UW to benefit from our market leading services and to make big savings on their essential household bills.”
