Beat price hikes with the UK's cheapest fixed energy deals

I have been with Utility Warehouse for 20 years for energy, landline, broadband, landline and 16 years for mobile. I also use their cashback card, so get (I think) the maximum discounts available from them. I have always found the customer service excellent when I have called them for help. I find it really useful that all my individual utility statements are wrapped up in one monthly statement. I generally find when frequently encountered by competitors touting for business outside supermarkets, that as soon as I mention I have all the UW services including the cash back card that they back off, so that indicates for me that I am getting good value for money. I'm sure I might be able to beat the price slightly by shopping around but the time and effort it involves to enquire with different providers and deal with different emails/statements isn't worth it in my opinion.

UW has kept me informed of progress however BT are really letting the side down as we have been without our landline now for over a week!!

After over 15 years as a loyal Utility Warehouse customer, I was extremely disappointed when my monthly payment increased from £223 to £499 following an attempted supplier switch by my former landlord. Despite numerous calls, I received conflicting explanations, which eventually led me to close my account. Today, I spoke with Letita, who demonstrated what excellent customer service should look like. Although my issue remains unresolved, she patiently listened to my frustrations without interrupting and genuinely tried to investigate my concerns. While I remain unhappy about the unexpected charges, I truly appreciate Letita's patience, empathy and professionalism. Sometimes, simply being heard makes a world of difference. Thank you, Letita, for making me feel valued as a customer.

Been with UW for a while now, not from any help from some early day, pushy sales tactics but switched to them for one of the cheapest deals around in 2022. We only use them for energy but can't say we've had any issues so far. Today, I noticed our electricity in debit but our direct debits had gone down in the last year so I wanted to call up to arrange a slight increase as to eat up the debit amount over time. I spoke to a wonderful lady called, Silindile, who was very helpful and understanding and arrange the slight increase very quickly. I can't speak to the other services but, as I said, 4 years down the line and service has been fine.

Following my husband's passing, I completely forgot to change the joint account to show myself as the sole account holder. The lady who cancelled his Sim requested the bereavement team call me which they did. Many thanks to Fara & Fulbert who were extremely helpful and compassionate, which made the process very easy for me.

Internet wasn’t working I contacted UW I did have a 20 minute wait to speak to a member of the team but worth it as the gentleman was so helpful, turn out to be a problem with O2. I had a text message and email from UW explains that the Technical team were working on it and I was kept up to date . The internet sprung into life the next day and again I received a text message and email confirming the internet was back up and working.

The customer service is amazing! Had issues with mobile but it was resolved so quickly. What I was really impressed with, we got cut off (I dropped the phone) but they called back to continue! Usually the onus is you to call back & explain it all over again. Not with UW. Also called back to check everything was working, a few hours later.

Just nice to have someone to 'speak' to rather than everything done on line or by 'chat box' The member of staff that I spoke to was very patient, clear and pleasant. Nothing was a problem and I felt that I was actually 'listened to' Thank you

I like that if there is any problem, there is always someone to talk to and get it sorted, and that I'm dealing with the same people for my different services.

I would have given 5, but only 2 days ago my non-peak electricity window was moved without notifying me. I'm still waiting for a response. While UW unit rates and standing charges are the best, their SEG tariff currently 8p Kw/Hr is not. When balancing import and export unit rates out, Octopus comes out better, be it on a variable or fixed tariff. I, for one am considering a move.
