19 January 2024 - Utility Warehouse (UW) today launched its latest fixed energy tariff enabling customers to lock in their energy rates for the next 12 months at £150 below the January price cap.

As cost-of-living pressures continue to impact households across the UK, UW’s three-service Fixed Saver 12 tariff is priced at £1,778 - almost 8% below the price cap - making it one of the cheapest fixed tariffs on the market.

Unlike many other suppliers, the new fixed tariff is available to both new and existing customers. To sign up, customers need to take energy and switch at least two of their existing broadband, mobile or insurance services to UW.

For customers who want to take energy plus just one other UW market leading service, customers can sign up to UW’s two-service Fixed 12 tariff. This enables customers to freeze their energy rates at £1,803 - £125 below the price cap - until February 2025.

Customers who choose to fix and sign up via a UW Partner are also eligible for a further £50 saving on their UW utility bill.

David Walter, Chief Commercial Officer at Utility Warehouse, said: “As temperatures tumble across the UK, we know that many people will be looking at ways to save on their energy bills. With our new fixed tariffs, customers can have peace of mind on their energy bills for the next 12 months and make substantial savings of up to £150 against the current price cap, alongside our other market-leading services.”

More than 62,500 additional households switched to UW in the first 6 months of FY24, representing an annualised growth rate of over 14%. With more than 950,000 households taking more than 3 million services from UW, the business is on track to pass the one million customer milestone during the current financial year.

The fixed tariff is available from 9am on January 19th. To sign up visit www.uw.co.uk for more information.
