London, 16th May 2024 - Utility Warehouse (UW) today launched the UK’s cheapest fixed energy tariff among medium and large suppliers - with a substantial £125 saving against the April price cap - enabling customers to lock in their energy bills until May 2025.

The three-service Fixed Saver 19 tariff is priced at £1,565, £125 below the current price cap of £1,690. It is available to customers who take energy and switch at least two of their existing services - from broadband, mobile or insurance - to UW, providing price certainty for the next 12 months.

For customers who want energy plus just one other UW service, UW’s Fixed 19 tariff is £1,600 for the year, offering a £90 saving against the price cap.

Unlike many other suppliers, the new fixed tariffs are available to both new and existing customers. Customers can sign up via UW Partners who provide personalised advice to anyone wanting to switch to the new tariff and on how to save money on their household bills by bundling them together with UW.

David Walter, Chief Growth Officer at Utility Warehouse, said: “By bundling services together we can offer market leading prices - not just as a one off - but continuously, year after year. That’s why record numbers of customers are joining UW to take advantage of these savings and our excellent customer service. As households across the UK continue to face tough cost-of-living pressures, our latest fixed energy tariff can help them make big savings on their bills, while giving peace of mind that they will pay the same great value for money price for the next 12 months.”

Since 2021, more than 343,000 new customers have joined UW and in the last financial year alone, UW delivered over £30m worth of savings to customers on their energy bills. UW recently passed the 1 million customer milestone and has set its sights on reaching 2 million customers over the medium term.

In January, UW scored the highest overall score for energy suppliers in Which?'s annual energy firm rankings for 2024. UW scored 75% overall - coming ahead of 17 other energy suppliers, including both major companies and smaller operators. UW scored highly for its customer service overall, the quality of its communications about energy costs, smart meter target performance and supporting customers who need it.

The new fixed tariffs are available from 9am on 16th May 2024. To sign up visit www.uw.co.uk for more information.
