21 March 2022 - For more than 20 years, Utility Warehouse (UW) has been making life easier for its customers by bundling all their home services into one easy to manage bill, offering savings and benefits when customers take multiple services. And now multiservice UW customers can save £98 against the new energy price cap, giving them access to the cheapest energy in the UK.*
All UW customers, paying by Direct Debit, will make a saving against the price cap. But UW’s new service bundles mean that every customer who takes at least two services - such as energy plus broadband, mobile or insurance - will get a bigger discount against the new price cap.* There are many bundle combinations to meet all of our customers needs, such as:
One Service - Energy only = £10 discount against the new price cap
Two Services - Energy plus Broadband = £49 discount against the new price cap
Three Services - Energy plus Broadband and Mobile = £98 discount against new price cap and a 10% Broadband discount.
And new UW customers who take all four services and our cashback card could benefit from further great savings:
Four Services - Energy plus Broadband, Mobile and Insurance = £98 discount against new price cap plus 10% Broadband discount, plus £50 welcome credit on UW Cashback Card.**
These savings will come into effect on customers' bills from April 1st, when the new energy price cap begins. For all multiservice combinations please visit uw.co.uk/our-pricing.
UW will also automatically help tens of thousands of existing customers whose combination of services will now qualify for a bigger energy discount than before - some welcome relief as the cost of living increases and the new price cap comes into effect.
UW customers with a cashback card are also eligible for up to 7% cashback at participating retailers, with 1% being returned to customers wherever they spend. High street retailers include Primark, M&S, and River Island. This money is returned directly to customers' bills, making direct savings on their monthly utility payments.
Stuart Burnett, Co-CEO at Utility Warehouse, said: ‘As families across the UK battle an unprecedented cost of living crisis, we wanted to do more. As the scale of the crisis became clear, we revisited our bundles and have spent the last few months restructuring them to give even more households more ways to save - not just on energy but on all their home services.
‘These new bundles - which enable every multiservice customer to get a bigger discount on their energy - offer consumers across the UK the opportunity to save time and money, allowing people to focus on the more important things in life, safe in the knowledge that they are getting a great deal on their monthly utility bill.’
UW doesn’t advertise, rather the business relies on a network of Partners to sell services via word of mouth. For more information about these new bundles, contact a UW Partner or visit www.uw.co.uk.
Notes to editor
*Cheapest energy in the UK: UW is currently offering the lowest variable energy tariff in the market, which is available to new and existing multiservice UW customers - those who take energy and at least 2 other core services (choosing from broadband, mobile and insurance (excl. Bill Protector)), pay by direct debit and on a credit meter. Calculated based on the typical domestic consumption values (as set by Ofgem). Compared against standard variable tariffs which are publicly available. Correct at 17/03/22.
** £50 cashback card credit is paid on first top up to qualifying customers who switch their energy, broadband, mobile, and an insurance product to us (either Boiler & Home Cover, or Income Protector). Cashback credit must be used in the first six months of top-up.
